Dear plant enthusiasts! With the beginning of a new academic year, it's time to rejoin the world of plant biology. Our labs, lecture halls, and botanical gardens are buzzing once again with activity as we kick off a new semester.

Kelly Dawe, Distinguished Research Professor and UGA Athletics Association Professor in Plant Biology, was featured for his pioneering and ground-breaking work in a recent UGA Research article.

The University of Georgia Herbarium, founded in the 1920's, is one of the largest herbaria in the southeastern United States with over 280,000 sheets of pressed plants from around the world.
