Image: We want to say thank you to Jill Beyette, who served the Plant Biology Department and the Division of Biological Sciences as an Academic Professional Faculty for the last seven years. She applied her expertise in education to teaching non-majors biology with an emphasis on active learning and critical thinking. She also developed a Peer Learning Assistant program for the College of Engineering at UGA, and implemented Learning Outcome Assessments for undergraduate students majoring in Biology at UGA. Jill was a great colleague and we will miss her. Thank you, Jill, and we wish you all the best!
