Studying the evolution and diversification of atypical genomic traits of plastomes in the genus Geranium of the botanical family Geraniaceae. 

Research Interests:

My research interests have always aligned with evolution and the biodiversity in the Plantae kingdom. My dissertation research utilizes phylogenomics and bioinformatics techniques to study the evolution and diversification of atypical chloroplast genome structure in Geranium of the family Geraniaceae and order Geraniales.
