Image: "Senior Biology major Ben Miller, who conducted research in the Department of Plant Biology as part of the CURO research program, has recently been accepted to the Georgia Regents University Dental College of Georgia. Ben worked in the Donovan lab in the 2014-2015 academic year, studying root system traits in Helianthus (sunflower) with post-doc Alan Bowsher. The project, entitled “Evolutionary divergences in root system morphology, allocation, and nitrogen uptake in species from high- versus low-fertility soils,” was recently published in Functional Plant Biology. Congratulations, Ben, and best of luck in Dental School!"
