Image: Rosemary Wills is an undergraduate conducting research in Dr. Michelle Momany's laboratory, which focuses on polar growth in the model filamentous fungus Aspergillus nidulans and the pathogen Aspergillus fumigatus. With the PBIO 4960 Undergraduate Research Award, Rosemary is investigating whether pH affects the germination and growth of A. fumigatus under stressful conditions in the human host and environment.
