Graduate Student
PBGSA President (2025-2026)
Lab:
Tsai Lab | Davidson Life Sciences
Research Interests:

I am interested in the molecular processes underlying plant response to abiotic stresses. Carbohydrate production, storage, and transport across plant organs is an integral process in winter tolerance. My dissertation research investigates winter-biased genes involved in carbohydrate utilization in hybrid poplar by generating CRISPR-Cas9 knockouts and exploring their seasonal phenotypes.

Admission to the University of Georgia Graduate School through the Integrated Plant Sciences Program Doctoral Program, Fall 2022.

B.S. Biology, Mercer University, 2021.
