Congratulations to Samantha Surber! She won the 2025 Paper of the Year Award. This award recognizes a graduate student who published a paper with the most significant contributions to plant or fungal biology. Great job, Sammi!

On May 6, the Plant Biology Department will be celebrating all our graduating students. This includes our undergraduate students majoring and minoring in PBIO and our graduate students! 

Please join us for the annual herb sale of the PBIO graduate Student Association!   PBGSA’s annual Herb Sale will be held on April 3rd-6th. All herbs will be priced at just $3! 
This weekend the Georgia Museum of Art celebrated the opening of its new temporary exhibition titled, “We, Too, Are Made of Wonders” which features works themed around night and outer space.  

Happy New Year! To welcome the new academic year, we are hosting STEM for All coffee hours. The goal is to create a science family for students and researchers at all levels from historically excluded groups including LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities.
